From Miami:

  • Take I-75 North to Exit 131 (Daniels Parkway).
  • Go west on Daniels Parkway to Summerlin Road.
  • Turn left onto Summerlin Road and continue approximately 10 miles to the Sanibel Causeway toll booth.
  • Past the toll booth, continue on to Sanibel Island.
  • At the 4-way stop (crossroads), turn right onto Periwinkle Way.
  • Continue on Periwinkle Way until it ends, then turn right onto Tarpon Bay Road.
  • At the first stop sign turn left onto Sanibel/Captiva Road.
  • Continue on Sanibel/Captiva Road for approximately 5 miles, Wightman Lane is the first Left after the 4 way stop in Captiva Village.
