Grocery Stores

Village Store – Andy Rosse Lane
This is a convenient store where you are able to buy most basic items you need. However we do find for more general supplies, i.e. fruit and vegetables, we do have to visit the larger supermarkets, on Sanibel Island.

Chadwick’s Market and Deli – outside South Seas Resort
This lovely little deli, has a wide selection of fresh fruit, salads, grocery items, fresh seafood, bakery goods and hot and cold deli items. And if you are not buying too much you can walk from the house.

Phone Cards
You may find that you do not receive a signal on your mobile phone, buy a phone card (Speak Out World Card) from 7-11, for $20 you will get about 200 minutes of calls to the UK. The 7-11 Store can be found opposite the Baileys centre in Sanibel.

ATM Machines
An ATM machine is located at the parade of shops in Chadwick’s Square. There is plenty of parking here, or if you are feeling energetic you can walk. Plenty of banks can be found on Sanibel.

Post Office and Bank
The post office is located just past Chadwick’s square, if you carry on walking about 200 yards you will come to the post office, carry on walking and you will find yourself at the bank.
